After graduating from the University of Munich with a diploma degree in computer sciences (Diplom-Informatikerin), I am currently employed as a web application developer with MyControl. An introductory study period in physics and a minor in physics let me fulfil my scientific curiosity especially on the subjects of optics and optical semi-conductors, which I complemented with a position as a trainee student at the Technical University of Munich.

In my major of computer sciences, I specialized in computer networks, network management and databases. My diploma thesis was completed during the summer term 2002 at the chair Kommunikationssysteme und Systemprogrammierung and discussed the following subject: "Design and Implementation of a generic Quality of Service Measurement and Monitoring Architecture". Through a position as trainee student with Cybernet AG and later MyControl, I gained valuable practical experience on the subject of computer networks and software engineering.

For the winter term 2003/04, I succesfully applied to the International Masters Program in Mathematics at the University of Munich and am now studying mathematics with a minor in physics. My favourite subjects are abstract algebra, mathematical methods of physics and quantum mechanics. I will hopefully get my masters degree sometimes in 2006.
